I have been sewing for most of my life. It was a major part of my childhood. Both my mother and grandmother would sew for me and with me. I loved my home made outfits and halloween costumes. I would spend hours flipping through pattern books at the fabric shop where my grandma worked. In high school I spent much of my time in the sewing lab. During my final year I was able to assist with teaching while I worked on my graduation outfit. I then attended university for Fashion Design and Technology where I learned many tricks and the importance of the little details that make a project not only beautiful, but functional and made to last.
Fast forward many years and my love of sewing has never left. Although I have experimented with many other avenues and adventures, I always come back to it. I can’t beat the feeling of working with my hands or seeing the smile on someones face when they put on a garment that fits just right.
My main goal is for my clients to feel good throughout the process. And this is why I offer flexibility with fittings. If you would prefer to be fitted in your home, I would be happy to accommodate you.

If you wish to work with me it is important to know that I do not take in more work than I can accomplish in a timely manner. It is very likely that you may have to add your name to a waitlist before I can take on your project, so I recommend thinking ahead for special events. Out of respect for myself and all of my clients, I do not do rush work. I appreciate your understanding.
